Ornamental Iron
Ornamental Iron
Sometimes called "Wrought Iron" this fencing type is becoming very popular. Most ornamental metal fence is made with steel and no longer "wrought iron". When comparing fencing the weight of the
material used and the willingness to customize help separate companies. The degree of ornamentation one desires will determine the final look and cost but this type of fence can greatly enhance the aesthetic appeal of a property while at the same time providing a low maintenance and highly secure fence.
Ornamental iron fencing is often used to secure swimming pools, enhance the landscaping in one's front yard and is the best material for a driveway gate. Plastic fencing in the styles thought to be only available in steel are really not comparable. The PVC material only looks like metal from a distance and cannot be customized to the degree of real ornamental iron.
We are primarily a residential & rural fencing, construction and metal fabrication company; however, we do serve the commercial and industrial customer as well. These pages list and describe the major fencing types and materials with pictures to show our work and give you ideas.
Fencing can be done with almost anything. We have built everything from invisible fences where you see nothing to custom rock entrances and gate systems, cedar post fences and much more. While not practical to try to list/show every type and style of fencing, or combinations of the various types and styles, we want to list and briefly describe the major types of fence, fencing materials, and styles.
Remember this just gets us started.
